I just downloaded some pictures and have some fun shots to share. This was the snow fort we built in beaver this Christmas. It reminded me of the classic "Snow Fort" song that was performed at Guitars Unplugged winter of 05. If you've forgotten it (which, for those of you who were there, I'm terribly disappointed) go to YouTube and search Snow Fort BYU-Idaho and you'll find it!!!
The sad thing about this fort is that ours was better than Sterling and Charla's -- or so we thought until Sterling launched a snowball and knocked half of it over. Unfortunately I was too saddened to take and aftermath picture. You can't tell me our fort wasn't the better of the two!!
Here we have me and my favorite nephew! Okay, he's my only nephew so it's okay if I say he's my favorite. You can't blame me for thinking I'm the greatest aunt ever and that he's the cutest baby ever. Everyone else posts baby pictures on their blogs. This kid's the closest thing I've got to a baby so goo and gah over him!! This was taken at Hayden's basketball game before Christmas. (There are no cute baby's on the Ormond side, so none of Nathan's B-ball game pics made it to the blog!!)( Okay, I was a cut Ormond baby, I meant there are no cute baby nephews or nieces on the Ormond side!!!)
Next comes the Elder's Quorum Bowling night. We had a lot of fun getting to know a few people in our ward. Unfortunately all the pictures of me are just of the back side. That's because I was so serious knocking down the pins (or rolling gutter balls, but it's all the same among friends right!?)
And here we have today!! Our most recent date. You see, the greatest thing about sharing similar jobs with my husband is that all our free time is the same!! Weekends, Evenings!! And since it's just the two of us we get to spend a lot of time together. Isn't he cute!!! Anyways, we bought ourselves a tube (which ended up being improperly inflated and lopsided) and went up to the buffalo run. They call it that because their is a true to life as sure as you're standing there buffalo herd right here in Evanston, Wyoming!!! My dad says that makes us pretty lucky!! Who would have thought? Our very own town mascot herd of buffalo!!
I know it doesn't look like there is even enough snow to sled, but up on the hill there was plenty!! See what I said about our tube. It was a bit demented!! But, it worked and we figured out a great way to fit both of us laying head first as we sailed down the hill!! Pretty fun! And like the sign says, your welcome to come for a visit any time!!! Happy end of February!!
